The New Chic was founded in 2015 by makeup artists Anita Jolles & Liselotte van Saarloos. The New Chic offers full courses and seminars designed for professional makeup artists who want to expand their technical knowledge & creative skills and want to develop further within the world of the fashion industry. “It’s all about pushing your creative boundaries, developing your own style and signature and taking your career in makeup to the next level”.

Both Liselotte and Anita have over 20 years of first-hand experience within the high-end fashion industry. They are always looking to create the perfect balance between beauty and creativity with a quality finish.

Anita is represented worldwide by Artist Unit and divides her time between Amsterdam and Paris and Liselotte is represented worldwide by The Wall Group and is based in New York. Both of them regularly travel to New York, Paris, Milan and London to work for a variety of international clients.

Their work is frequently featured in (inter)national fashion magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, ELLE, Glamour, Mirror Mirror Magazine, Dazed & Confused,  L’Uomo Vogue, Oyster Magazine, Vision Magazine, Surface, SSAW Magazine, Arena Homme+, TANK Magazine, Idoménée, Odda Magazine & VMAN.
